![]() ![]() Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) of certain category as has been specified in the Brochure who migrated from India and acquired citizenship of a foreign country other than Pakistan and Bangladesh, are eligible for grant of OCI as long as their home countries allow dual citizenship in some form or the other under their local laws. Based on the recommendation of the High Level committee on Indian Diaspora, the Government of India decided to grant Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) commonly known as “dual citizenship”. The Constitution of India does not allow holding Indian citizenship and citizenship of a foreign country simultaneously. ![]() OCI CARD HOLDERS WHO OBTAINED THE OCI BELOW 50 YEARS OF AGE AND IF THEY ARE AT THE AGE OF 50 YEARS AT PRESENT, IT IS MANDATORY TO UPLOAD THE PASSPORT AND THE RECENT PHOTOGRAPH IN THE OCI MISELLENEOUS SERVICES ONLY ONCE. OCI CARD HOLDERS WHO OBTAINED THE OCI ABOVE 20 YEARS OF AGE AND IF THEY ARE BELOW 50 YEARS OF AGE AT PRESENT, THEY CAN USE THE CURRENT OCI CARD / WITH THE OLD PASSPPORT. OCI CARD HOLDERS WHO OBTAINED THE OCI BELOW 20 YEARS OF AGE AND IF THEY ARE AT THE AGE OF 20 YEARS AT PRESENT, IT IS MANDATORY TO SUBMIT THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTS AND RENEW THE OCI CARD. IT IS MANDATORY TO UPLOAD THE PASSPORT AND RECENT PHOTOGRAPH IN THE OCI MISCELLANEOUS SERVICES WHEN RENEWING THE PASSPORT FOR THE OCI CARDHOLDERS WHO OBTAINED THE OCI BELOW 20 YEARS OF AGE AND IF THEY ARE YET BELOW 20 YEARS OF AGE.Ģ0 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட OCI வைத்திருப்பவர்கள் இன்னும் 20 வயதுக்குக் குறைவானவர்களாக இருந்தால். ![]()
